	Trade Agreements - cancelling Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I've seen on several threads advice about how to cancel an active trade agreement. The advice is always that you should press the 'active' button or bar on the 'trade screen' and then some options will present.

I've played several games and never seen any such 'active' button or bar.

Where exactly is it? Is it to be found on the Trade Advisor's Screen, or perhaps on the screen with the AI leader's face after you double-click on his symbol in the Foreign Advisor's screen? Is it somewhere else? And is it a button or a bar - what does it look like?

Furthermore, is there an option for cancelling trade agreements (and treaties) before they naturally expire?

Can anyone give advice to this dummy?

Step 1: Initiate contact with your trading partner.

Step 2: Select "We wish to offer you a deal" from the menu. This will bring you to the trading screen. On the bargaining table (the centre window) at the bottom are three buttons. "Clear Table", "New", and "Active". Click on the "Active" button to see what deals are currently running. Anything with a number in parentheses cannot be cancelled for that many turns. Anything else (including peace) can be clicked on. This will bring you back to the bargaining table. You can re-negotiate or clear the table to cancel a deal.


No, you cannot break a deal before 20 turns are up (unless you declare war).
