Ok, I have to take exception with the "good old boy sh1tkicker" tag you apply to Bob.
When the term is applied to, oh I don't know, maybe Texans, I find it offensive and yet amusing.
To suddenly find someone like Bob lumped into the same generality, the amusing part falls away rapidly.

I could go on and on...but you should treat this as an exercise and see what you can come up with. Think af some of the things that you can tease back with. Stew's invasion of AOE. His relationship with IAIAIN. Virginity and recent loss. Excess drinking. Etc.

(But make sure you tease back in a light manner. What you're showing is that you've got plenty of wit to fight back...but you're such a nice guy, you do it in a playful manner.)

If you tease back in a good-natured way, the whole discussion runs out of steam in a few rounds. He'll be more likely to shift into real discussion mode or at least to get bored.

I can vouch for what GP says. The best thing to do is to let it roll off you, but if that doesn't work, turn the tables.

Some people just get off on seeing how much they can get to and they will see you as weak the more you react to them. They're weak for doing that to you but hey I guess not everyone is nice in life.

When you start just getting all mad it makes you a target.

Pointing out hypocricy is my most potent weapon in real life. Gets people to shut up reallll quick. Although it is a bit icy. But very effective.

The reason it's so effective is that usually people are taking shots at you to build themselves up. Expose their insecurity and turn it against them.





Before I met GP I was a girlie man, real jelly backboned. The kids would all hit me in the face in dodgeball and I would run home and cry.

But after a couple of sessions with GP, my self-confidence improved so much that all the girls want me and all the guys are scared of me. I was even banging the lesbian high school gym teacher. Man I am hot sh1t now.

Telling the truth is usually the hardest thing to do in the short term, but it is the best strategy in the long term.

Actually, to be honest (since you applaud honesty), Bob doesn't really 'get to me' because he isn't really someone you can take seriously. I would find his comments very annoying coming from anyone more credible though. Actually Giancarlo 'gets to me' much more than Bob does, because GC is someone who has thought about what he posts, but still comes to conclusions diametrically opposed to my own. In contrast, Bob is just some stuck record.

I am a little curious though, and since we are all being honest: just who's DL is Bob anyway? I am certainly not going to beleive that he is real!

You think I would allow a traitor to conduct my propaganda spreading? Absolutely not. I fight for freedom from communist traitors who think they can control every aspect of our lives.
