Nice biographies, Franky Chan. What is the matter with the Peacekeepers and the Hive, huh? All ganging up on poor little CEO Moron, errr...that's Morgan. If the Peacekeepers aren't shooting Spartans to pieces, and vice versa, over my Morgan Interstellar holdings, some sneaky little Ehud guy is lamenting over his grand-dad's death and blaming it on us. And it's just 'cause you are all jealous of our superior products. This Ehud guy, he's a tough-guy. Trying to boost his economy way out of proportion, if you ask the old CEO. Capitalism, something no Morganite can stand. Well, anyway, this Ehud guy. Might get too much of a danger for his own good if you know what I mean, right? Anyway, I like your work, Franky (as I like the work of just about everyone). Keep it up. Peacekeepers and Hive joining up though...hmmm...it's possible. it's not probable, but anything is possible when it comes to Lal and Yang. Never could trust 'em. A Hive death-star...what an interesting (but totally unusable) idea. *Pictures the Kang guy dressed as Darth Vader and Yang sitting around in a cloak* Emperor Yang: You know, us guys on the Dark Side, you know, we have gotta put an end to these rebels of society. You know, Deirdre, Morgan, Prokhor, Corazon, that bunch. Darth Kang: Have no worry, Emperor, with the Hive Star, the rebellion will be squisherooed. *Clenches fist* As for the faction leaders, I believe Santiago has retired from Sparta and is replaced by a General Kessel. As for we Morganites, CEO Nwabudike is still top banana, as is, I believe, Zakharov (and to a lesser extent Deirdre) for his faction. Svensgaard and Miriam, I believe, are no more. They have ceased to be. That weird lady in charge of the Data Angels is also dead, I think. As for the Peacekeepers, I'm under the impression that Lal is still up and about. But Domai is no longer in charge of the Drones, it's now 'Kristy Adams'. As for your ice cream question, I have no sufficient answer.

Sorry for dissapearing for a bit, i have been busy. I also wasn't able to complete much, but did get the site up and started. In the next bit, will be filled up with stuff. So any information on your factions either send to beyondalphacentauri@yahoo.com or post it in the admin thread.
The site's url is www.geocities.com/beyondalphacentauri
not the best webmanship, but shouldn't matter. Mainly somewhere to place information of the various factions.
I haven't read much of the thread aswell this past week, but Cybergod, please no super godlike beings...just ends up making the game unrealistic in the long run and godmodish.
Also, I will do the description of Venus, the Belters and the Scions. Venus IS self-sufficient and don't need to depend on any one. they may before, but not anymore. They are also quite neutral.
kass, if they can colonize venus, they should be able to colonize Mercury, but depend on the use of radiation shields and etc...
tHE General event timelime i will do and post on the website.... after that, post/send your timeslines base on that general site.
sprayber, if you wish to work on the site aswell, i can pm the password.
now, to read the thread and state my opinion

...currently in a exciting hyper good mood....

quote: [They are a multi-ethnic working community, with a low population - couple of millions? (help Kass!) The Titan people support the ideals of the early Drone Republic (before Domai's fall) and the Mars Combine government has strong backing here. The current government was set up by InEn, to organise a mining colony that grew into proper settlement, is still in place only due to the fact that the people have not found a reason to rebel - they get supplies shipped regulary from the Alliance so why starve? This might change if some other influentative faction gives the rebels support and helps them build complexes of bio-plantations, something the T. Alliance stopped building to make the Titans "addicted" and dependant on their supplies, therefore controlling the unhappy citizens (no work - no food). My suggestion is to let me be a new governor for Titan, as appointed by the Alliance, since the former governor is believed to have joined the rebels. Many political games are played until my character (who has good contacts on Mars) also chooses to join the rebels. I think it would be risky to do this but imagine this split in the Sol factions: |
Cybergod, Titan in reality as a good chance to have a jungle like ecosystem. SO not another dull cratered moon. If it as plants, also a possibility of having its own atmosphere filled with oxygen.
If so, Titan will most likely be the second/third place to be colonized after Mars and maybe Luna. So the idea of having a mining community on a greenish jungle like moon? When i hear and see Titan, i imagine a jungle like moon....

Team A:
Terran Alliance
Luna
The Venus Colonies - heavily depend on Earth
Neptun/Uranus Colonies? (these might crumble)
Team B:
The Belters
Mars Combine
Jovians
Saturnians (what do you call them them )
Team C: (Neutral)
The Scions
Is this pheasable? |
No teams please... Terran ALliance is comprised of factions in Sol, but no civil war type teams. Major Terran factions is Earth Coalition and Mars Combine...then InEn.
Venus is self-dependable by the 2500s, and don't depend on anyone. They Neutral
the Belters cannot exactly be depended upon to support anyone's side. So they quite erratic relations wise.
The Scions are Neutral and prefer not to trade many of their most advance techs....but not better then the Fraal or Proginators...but slightly more advance then Chironians. anywaym will do the descs on the webpage.
Kass, another thing would like to mention.... You mention sol being against genetic/cyborg manipulation.....well, Scions use to be humans..... if the Terran Alliance have policies like that, then they would make the Scions outlaws. and the Belters wouldn't care either
also, why would they be so against genetic manipulation? may have a purist political group in the terran alliance.....longivity could be banned, but what is the use? Longivity exist, bt not as good as the Chironians and available to small percentage of the Sol population. (the rich and more infrastructured factions). Morganites would provide better longivity technology, for high price
