I just can't beat this game, it really sucks!
A. I had a pikeman defend against two of my tanks and they won. (Ask the former soviet tank gunners battling afghani horsemen how they charged down and ripped the hatch open. Oops I guess you can't the tank gunners are dead.) Damn guerrilla warfare.
B I have been at war for 40 years and my democracy is rebelling. All of MY people love war don't they! Hell, I have been kicking butt what more could they want. Damn hippies and commies, they should be more intimidated in my government.
Those firaxis coders must really have it out for us, I mean I can't take 15 Knights and a couple of musketmen and conquer the world anymore. I have to deal with all of this other junk in the game like workers, corruption, and try to come up with creative ways to deal with the AI making ridiculous demands. Come on everyone, join me and burn this worthless piece of garbage and we will send the ashes to Sid himself!
P.S. IF YOU DISAGREE I WILL CALL YOU NAMES WITH LOTS OF $$$ SYMBOLS IN THEM!!!

You think you had it bad well that's nothing.
There was a lone warrior outside my capital, just a little threat I thought, but I well may as well squish it like an ant underfoot. First I borbarded it with five bombers, then with four ironclads. Man that warrior must have suffered the landscape got whacked, no improvements were left. So then my tanks went into action, there were five of them. That warrior stood his ground, one by one the tanks got blown sky high. Then to top it all the warrior entered my capital and destroyed my air force and navy (30 bombers, 10 fighters, 8 ironclads, 4 battleships), and then razed it to the ground.
Man the combat on this game really sucks.
