	Game end date? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

In the event of a stalemate does the game always end at a given date (2050?) or does it vary depending on the difficulty setting or whatever? I can’t seem to find anything specific in the manual or Civilopedia, just references to “the last year of the game” but without dates or further details.

I am pretty sure scoring stops in all modes of the game in 2050, but you can continue to play.

Why anyone would want to continue to build the civilization or battle when no score is being kept is beyond me.

Thanks for the post Rathgar1. It does look as if that's the case. I've been looking a bit more and can't find anything to the contrary. I also think that if it had been clearly otherwise I would have had a few people posting by now with messages along the lines of "No, no, if you do this such and such can happen".

Handy to know, as my first very easy experimental game came to a fairlyabrupt halt before I had got much out of the ancient era. Much to learn! But a fascinating game for sure.
