Count me in Blackice.
This is supposed to be my first multiplayer game of Civ ever, so I'm a little miffed that it nearly got abandoned by its players. (I get all the luck.. )
Maestro, Gavrushka, if you can start making the turns move, I'd be grateful. 
Oh, and in the -Obituary- section of this post....I regret to announce that Podraig researched gunpowder and shot himself while waiting for Turn #3..so I may be discarding my corny role play attempts.
Also in the obits: Live Wire the First, a stillborn infant. All worldly posessions (including plains, mountains, trade goods, and river tiles) have been left to his predecessor Live Wire the Second. May his turns flow long into old age.
NOTE - The missing Live Wire players are suspected of foul play related to these deaths. If you sight any of the suspects, you are advised to shake your fist at them, real hard like.

In most games, you find a player that joined that really did not have an inclination to play, usually the younger players, who seem to lose interest when a new game comes out, or were just trying CTP, but aging Goliaths like Gavrushka, soon become part of the furniture...

From the thread I conlude that Seige and gameobj.cpp are still in the game, Kriton will get online soon and Vitolg is active in all of his games. Only zZ_Oxide_Zz has disappeared. So the game needs one player right now. Or has another one dropped out and don't know about it?

Tis a new morn in Ireland -- yet her charismatic leader, Podraig, remains missing. When he walked among us, twas just as though he were a man among men...yet now that he has gone, we have all come to see him as more of a leader than ever we did while he was here.
Irish life goes on. An' Seamus ha' been goin' on, too...but to what good, I don't know.
Seamus ha' been busy. Ever since he taught us to be appeasin' the spirits last Solstice, the man's been takin' on airs like somethin' sick. "We bin ignorin' the spirits," he cries, "they be punishin' us, they do." He says the spirits be what stole Podraig away in the dark of the night. Though it must be said that the spirits mostly tell us to be at what Seamus thinks we should be at. Go figure...
Yet Seamus has his followers. They follow him around like the plague and bully whoever's talkin' back to him. Podraig's only just gone, and already we become divided.
