I like civ3 but why "look & fell" is better in civ2 ? Tired of ads?

CIv3 has , on my advice, a general visual effect very similar of those of SMAC (and even CTP1 and CTP2), and I find it very different than CIV2. Colors and pixel are not as "clean" as in CIV2, and it is the same for the precision of the mouse, and some other staff like this. Is it because it's not a Window's application like CIV2 was ?

I want to be clear. I find the gameplay of CIV3 better than CIV2, but some parts of programming (not the AI) seems cheaper.

Anyone else with the same feeling ?

No. See an ear doctor. Sometimes, falling is a problem with an inner ear imbalance.

Perhaps. But not nearly as mean as calling him "French". Rather like calling someone from Sao Paulo "Portuguese".

Nope, it's because that's the modern style. People don't want sharp, clean graphics anymore. They want fuzzy, blurry, 3-D rendered graphics, because it's 'cool'; 'new and improved'. Crisp graphics and easy-to-use interfaces are retro. They don't sell. And the hardware companies won't pay kickbacks to the software companies if the software doesn't require the latest hardware.

It is a Windows app, by the way.
