a trend I noticed recently has been game reviews have been getting worse- by that I mean not being detailed reviews.

maybe there are some independent sites that have good reviews.

anyone got any links?

major sites like gamespot, just don't do good enough reviews. And they aren't in depth enough.

anyways I just had to get that off my chest.

Infogrames knew they would get a lot of sales the first couple of weeks regardless of the games beta status. They tooks us all for fools- and they were correct

my goal in life is to get people to boycott all new games regardless of what game it is, until all patches are complete . It may take nuclear weapons to accomplish this.

at least the mornings are quiet and most of the whining crowd is asleep...um, actually they are probably playing civ3 till the early morning hours (game is 'broken')LOL

LOL, you're making a great argument, Dissident. Not.

First you are saying:

1) You all bought the game.
2) The reviews warned you that it was a bad game.

Conclusion) You all deserve a bad game.

But then when someone points out that the reviews are in fact very positive, you say that the reviewers are bad. Now what is left of your original argument?

1) You all bought the game.
2) The reviews told you that this was a good game, but you should have known that the reviewers are always bad. Or at least they are getting worse. At least when reviewing this game. And you should have known this.

ahh but my point still stands that every single PC game released has bugs. And we all buy games in the first 2 weeks when the game is buggy as hell.

This is why I want people to boycott new games. Maybe this will teach them not to release buggy games.

Yes my point about the reviews is invalid (but I still think CGW, PC gamer, and Gamespot has lost their edge in their reviews). But my point about buggy game stands. PC games need to strive to console game standards. Impossibe I know, but they have to do better. But then again, they can do worse, and people will still buy their games. This is why I say, don't buy new games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
