More leaders for Romans:
Valentinian I,
Stilicho,
Aetius,
Belisarius,
Narses,
Heraclius. (Should be the last Roman before they came Greek).

Right Lord Merciless. I'll add them though no one ever will have so many leaders

Ribannah: At least the system doesn't crash with so many cities, I've tried that out.

My point is:
you should make up your mind and call all the cities by their english name or call all the cities their original homeland name. I vote for the original name...

Btw: good work on this mod

Pisa was a typo actually, it's been changed in the BIC.
I had all of my lists done with the "original" names, but others convinced me to keep the English style which Firaxis used, at least for the most important cities.
I guess I'll open a poll on this.

Hagbart: Thanks for your comments. Pisae has been changed in the BIC file and on my homepage. Sometimes I forget to update one or two things here. Thanks.
You're right, Londinium should be out. (Done, in the BIC file )

Maximus? No way I will bow down before Hollywood. Maximus would make a ridiculous Roman leader. The Shmollywood story has as much to do with history as the dirt between my toes (after all it's the dirt of a historian ).

BTW I think italian cities should be before european ones, as they were founded before. So Bononia, Brundisium, etc. then Massilia, Narbo, Lutetia (france), then Valentia, Tarraco, Hispalis.. (spain) hmm ok I'm stressing too much about it (my own list is made up of more than 80 cities although my germans exterminate the romans after the first 10 cities they dare to found )

Some Other Greek Heroes. Get a bigger avatar today!

Well, Zorbas is just folklore not a hero by any means.

Even if I do disagree that Herakleios is Roman, well, it would seem that Constantinoupolis should be removed from the Roman Cities or be used with the intended name of Nova Roma (That was the name it was founded on)

Some Greek Heroes and what they did

Kountouriotis (the reason why you see Greek Colours on the islands all over the Aegean). Leader of Greek Navy during the 1912-1913 Balkan wars, in which Modern Greece owes some 57% of its estate to.

Velissarios is the name for both a Great General of Justinian and also the Greatest General of the Balkan wars. (He liberated my hometown, Ioannina in !913). Lost his son in that war, and he too died a Hero's death in battle.

Venizelos, a statesman whose uniting prowess made the above wars and victories a reality.

Kolokotronis, and Karaiskakis are the most renowned heroes of the Greek Revolution of 1821, without which, we would be something like the Incas today.

Greatest Byzantine Emperors are:

Basileios, Nikeforos Fokas, Ioannis Tzimiskis, Romanos and of course the Last one

Konstantinos Palaiologos. The last defender. -1453

(I would pick 4 or 5 by any age, Ancient, Byzantine and Modern [Post 1821 Revolution onwards...]

I think that Towns like Alba Longa, Tusculum, Ostia, Praeneste, Privernium... which are Latin towns, should be among the earliest towns founded by the Romans.

Volci, Volsinium, Tarquinii, Bovianium, Saepinum, and Aesernia are cities of the Samnites and Estructans which became Roman towns rather early in its history.

Also the town Beneventum is missing.

You're absolutely right. I've made some changes to the list and will have a look how to improve it further. I once had a list with more Italian towns, but I've lost it somewhere and thought it was too much effort to make another one so detailed.

Werna, remove Zorbas, it's just a folklor charachter, not a hero but any means (it's like putting Ernest as a hero for the Americans, ferchristsake ) - darn Kazantzakis made this freak world-famous

Other than that, I am impressed by your lists.
