	extremely long turns Get a bigger avatar today!

pleeeeeeeeaaase, tell me:
is there any possibility to make the game faster? iīm playing with a large map, 16 civs. every turn i have to watch all my workers and military automated moves and all enemy moves. this takes up to 10min. per turn, 9 of which iīm doomed to sit around and watch, doing absolutely nothing.
iīm a working man, i donīt have time for this. i play about two hours a day, in which i make ca. 20 turns and do nothing for about 80 mins. that canīt be it...
isnīt there any possibility to turn off at least enemy moves?

256 MB RAM
32xCD-ROM

you can try the things below but they don't help much:

1) try turning off unit animation.
2) also shut down any programs which is runing in the bg..

actually the problem is on the game.. it perform badly even in a 1.7G com with plenty of ram.. but Firaxis is not gonna fix it in the patch!!

(if I read the readme.txt correctly)

playing in a smaller map and fewer civ is the way to go...
