Hello...I recently gave away my copy of Civ2 to one of my buddies once my copy of Civ3 arrived. Now he's completely hooked to it like I was and we're wanting to start some multiplayer games. The only problem is that it's been so long since I've played Civ2 online I'm not sure where to go. I went to MSN Zone a while ago, but when I clicked on Civ2 it said "this game is no longe supported" and then it sent to the Hasbro Interactive web site.
Now...here at work I'm using a Mac (at home I have a PC) so I'm not sure if that's the reason why that message came up, especially since it showed 10 people playing the game. Can you still play the PC version of Civ2 on the Zone or must it be played somewhere else?
Thanks!

you can still play on the zone. at the screen you mentioned there's a link "click here to play this game on the zone". iirc macs can't use the zone and the link may not have been visible to you.
of course there's other ways to play other than using the zone. there's a community of MP players here too. we hang around in the civ2 MP forum. also you can connect thru civ2 (and are online) if you know the ip address of the host.

Thanks ColdWizard.
I didnt realize that it was possible to hook up via IP, so I might just go that route anyway.
