	Which Faction Leaders Would It Be Cool To Meet? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

If the faction leaders were real people, which ones would you like to meet and which ones would you stay away from.


This is assuming that the more unstable ones wouldn't have you nerve stapled immediatly.

Agreed. As a Christian myself I find Miriam's inclusion in the game to be annoying. I hope players of SMAC/X do not associate her with Christianity in general.

Morgan has a fascinating life story. Self-made zillionaire, venture capitalist, impromptu astronaut - what makes him tick?

I'd also like to talk to Conqueror Marr (if I could avoid being eaten) because he strikes me as a very brave man/thing/whatever. "Risks of Flowering: considerable", yet he presses on anyway, knowing what happened to Tau Ceti, into an uncertain future and fate for the Usurpers.

Deirdre and Domai are in my opinion dangerous communistic radicals, so I probably would steer clear of them. I wouldn't have anything to say to them anyway. Actually, if I could talk to Deirdre, I'd probably tell her that capitalism doesn't have to ruin the ecosystem and ask her how much better her people's lives would be if they had more economic prosperity. Would she listen?

Seriously, I would possibly like to meet Lal and Zakharov for different reasons. Firstly Lal to find out how difficult it had been for him being the voice of humanitarianism and democracy in such difficult times. I mean, he lost his wife and son, plus he has to contend with nuts like Santiago and Yang, people opposed to tolerance, peace and human rights. Secondly Zakharov to find out all the evil things he had done and whether he has any conscience or not. I would also like him to fend off any religious callers I get this time of year with some of the Intellectual Integrity research. Oh, he'd be damn annoying come Christmas.

Lastly, I'd ask Morgan whether or not he'd like another mistress

I would love to meet Yang, Morgan, Lal and Miriam. I'd pay good money for a book written by one of them, or the chance to interview them, or sit in on one of their meetings.

Deirdre seems like a good reason to invent punishment spheres. damned hippy eco-freak.

Santiago is just too agressive. I'd have a dominance battle with her, one of us would get killed.

I respect Morgans ambition, Yang and Lals beliefs, and I like religions that require sacrifice from their followers. Religion should tell one what to do, not provide an excuse for a shopping holiday.

I'd like to speak with the aliens, as well. If you don't know what's on the other side of the hill, and you can't go there, ask someone who has been there.
