you seem very angry, ive heard nothing from you about continueing that game as far as i know. Ive been playing alot in the last 2 weeks and have never seen you. I wasnt around for 2 weeks before that because i had no where to live so it was rather difficult too playand i told you that. All you had too say is i can play at a certain time and i would have been there (-: Im not telepathic even though i may claim to be after a few beers.

I always continue games if i see people. I do sometimes hate to set up games to be played at certain times, because people never turn up. As you didnt the last time we organised a 2 vs 1 game.

If you think you have beaten me in a game save it and it can always be continued rather than gloating on about what may have been. YOu did that before gav and you had lost the save or something.

Im sorry blackice but ill allways find it hard to beleive that im being out produced when im ahead on ranking. I was behind on tec but that is not new to me makes it more interesting. If you have not looked at that map we can allways continue.

But then again no matter what i do i get abused

Oh and berxpert got walloped by another guy in a 4 player with me playin as well today by knights. The guy that beat him had 38 cities in the end and on a reg map and they were both on the same island as me. He was up 12 odd ren tecs on me. I only had 19 cities and had sol's 20 turns at least later. But still thrashed him eventually. With a land based assault. I probably had a little luck in the fact that i wasnt the one who got attacked by knights.
But he probably couldnt have anyway due to mountains in the way.

Game league died for many reasons not least the fact that no one runs the site and hasnt for months and months. Very few of the top players have played for a long time long. When the cheat thread came up almost none of the top 10 were even active anymore.

yeah i like too win but i love the thrill of the chase. If i looked to only win as i keep sayin why do i always try and give my opponent an advantage 2 on 1 or handicapped ? or excepting a shocking island.

And the fact that several times Paulno1 was playing Filix immediately after, and once against Blackice, or was that a different Paulno1...

Paul Blackice has the save of the game we were in, play it through against him... Essentially I had 100 Sols stacked immediately behind you full of muskets and cannons , and i had captured three cities, had Subs about to go at you, and was ahead on powergraph, and way ahead in tech and prod meant that no matter how good you are you could not win that game, You are a better player than me, but in that game you were beaten, live with it

Yes I must said I was kicked and I stay until the end, the main problem was my position on the island, even that island had river on mountain and river on forest... I was on green land end the guy Ace was on the great part of the land, he didn't allow me to move into that part and isolate me on the green part.

Trying to make some room I attacked him earlier with mounted archers and warriors, later with samurais, but I can't with his numeric superiority.

Who me? Where did you get that impression? As for the other two who are they? The great cheat Filix or the the other one Zeral or what ever lol. I do not play with cheats thanks but no thanks. Wink nudge nudge they have played me several times they just did not know it. I am comfortable playing with honest people, with that I really do not think I am missing all that much. Catete is about the only person other than yourself that ask's a player if they would like the tricks used. That is fair play the rest well they can play by themselves...While GL has been dying we here have been expanding says something for honest play if you ask me.

Couldnt changing your name and passing yourself as someone else be a form of cheating ? It could certainly be argued either way. Being that how you play depends a lot on who you are playing. As i often lift my game for better players and im sure a lot of you guys do the same. If i changed my name and played you, you would certainly get a shock when i turned up with dozens of sol's when you were only expecting to be playing a newbie.

Generally more people that play in the servers, play with tricks rather than without. So it can generally be assumed that you are playing someone that is using tricks. But if you have never seen the person before odds on they dont use them.

Filix said that one time he was playing you (blackice) he was kicking your ass on ranking using no tricks and you left sayig that he was cheat basing your accusations purely on the fact he was winning. Filix is a very good player and it truely sucks when the apprentice beats his master

He thrashed me the other day. I had better land eventually but he had better starting land on a gig map. As a result he was ready for war much sooner than me.

Im probably with you on the fact that zeratul is a cheat though. But he quit many months ago so what does it matter.

Paul both me and Blackice often used assumed names to try and find cheats.... Never ever done in a game that was to be rated. I think it is circumstances that dictate that it has to be done, there are a lot of cheats, and I know you are not one of them.

Since you seem to like posting on the CTP Internet Ratings so much, why don't you go rated here, you mentioned before that you like the challenge... well heres a good challenge for you, why not play a few of us, and put some of your ability to good use getting a few other players up to speed so that you can be challenged by other good players. And while you are at it, if you have some free time, why not contribute something to the game by posting on the Multiplaying Strategy guide started by Nimrod in this Forum.

Blackice and me have tried very hard to help CTP grow and get more people interested, you could do a lot for the game, and since you seem to have so much free time on your hands why not put it to good use? - I am still pretty pissed about the game we were in, you have to understand that to you it was just another game, to me (and others that play you) it was a very big deal - Remember months ago when you slaughtered me and Quinns Combined then started congratulating yourself... I said then I would get better and beat you.... and that was the game we played that you abandoned.. I am a pretty mild mannered guy, but when I lose it, I really do lose it....

Um i have coached many many players in the past but i gave up on that a while back. I still offer advice when ever im asked too. Most of the good players that were ex GL players have been coached by me at some point, some have even got to my level. I still have not seen you in the lobbies since we last played. Then the only time we can normally play is if I stay up all night like i did last time. All you have to do is suggest a time that you will be in the lobby and odds on ill be there. I was and still am for finishing that game because any time someone thinks they have beaten you is the most interesting time to play. Cant remember if i was that far behind on tec though, being taht i had spies everwhere looking and checking up on what yoou had by the way.

You had that game won at one point but you attacked too late so im not sure how you would go now. Ive won from more adverse situations in the past. (-:

First of all you say you do not play newbies, second of all if a player did that great! good game! having fun here!

Setting the game rules up front is what to do, not assume up front.

He was cheating even you do not play that well against me. I have played Filix a few times he is good. But he is not that good. I have played him under a few names and when he is losing he leaves. He likes to win at any cost. That includes not being up front about the game rules and the gold cheat. Read the threads Paul he did not want saladino (The worst of the bunch BTW) to tell people about the gold cheat. In one game several people have unlimited gold Paul are you aware they do this or how they do it? Did someone get the cheat-o-matic to work? Or is it programing?

He quit before too and came back and won all those games against people by cheating unlimited gold cheat also as reported by other players.
So it does matter lots of unsuspecting people lost mega points to this cheat. Any cheater matters and should be accounted for.

Thats great to hear Paulino1 you are certainly one of the best players ever. Your input is valued and apprieciated by all. The better the competion the better the game gets for all. No fun beating people all the time it is in fact boring as you pointed out. Gavrushka is a good example of the student beating the master. It makes for far better games. We have tried before and it looks like nimrods thread is catching on, something GL never did was to share winning strategies. Drop by add a line of two that would be great!

ahhh yes most certainly, i gave him a whipping one time its on my GL record on gameleague. But i had far superior land and i attacked him before he had time to catch up. If i remember rightly we were suposed to have 2 games where we each host ones and pick our own settings. So i picked the settings that gave teh most advantage i could too the host hehe, he suggested the idea hehe. So i got big island with river and he got little island. We never got too play the second game. That was a long long long time ago.

Well i most certainly dont play exactly the same against every player and any good player shouldn't.

When i play YODA i most certainly will not play the same as i would against you or a newbie. Yoda attacks constantly so i would need to be aware of that and be prepared for it. So if he was too change his name too a newbie and then play me, i would get absolutely whiped. Due to the fact that agaisnt newbies i muck around and only build 10 to 12 cities, even against Blackice and gavuraska i am likely too muck around abit as i did in the last game with gav, makes for a much more interesting game. I was running a commentary abit at the start of what i was doing. Due too my crap island i built markets in my orginal 5 cities instead of settlers ( god knows why). Against filix or yoda i would just have asked for a restart and they would have done the same. (not trying too offer this as an excuse, i still think i would have won remember hehe, i certainly should not have won but that time was over)

So for a good player too fool me by a name change would most certainly gift them a win. So that most certainly is cheating, but i would be less likely too play them if i didnt know them anyway.

If you change your name and are playing someone you dont know, then it doesnt really matter.



hehe i might change my name and play someone ive played recently and be very aggresive and see how they react
