I'm afaraid I can't, yesterday was special, it was a holiday we remember the aparition of the Guadalupe Virgin (mother Mary of Jesus for Mexicans) that came to Juan Diego the 12nd Dec of 1531 at the Tepeyac Mountain at north of Mexico City.

So yesterday I worked just 1/2 day, went to buy a new 19" monitor and I was at home by the time you read my message, but in general I'm in home at 9:00 pm (Mx city time )

Friday afternoon (or nigth for Gav) is imposible to me too mainly for my class at university.

I hope we can play saturday. I think I'll be free since 13:00 my time.

Blackice I found out how to load PBEM like normal games. Im not sure of the significance of my discovery...but everyone was wondering how a few months back. I found a way.

You are just another player, and not the best of sports.... to me it was a pretty big deal to be beating you, and for you to just disappear and totally blank me out every time I asked for the game to continue speaks volumes about the person you are, it ain't about playing to you its about winning, you gloat when you win, and take your ball away and refuse to continue when you lose, I personally don't have time for the likes of you, Ice got the last save of the game we were in, and you were finished, you talk brave when you think the heat has died down over your last abandoned game, but my memory is a bit longer - I will readily admit that you would win most of the games we play, but to run away on the occassions when you are going to lose means, I don't really think you have a place here.

Wellllllllll when someone has 10-11 techs on you with many mines and many sols and many pikemen, the pressure is on you not them. The game I am refering to I had factories built on half my cities. You did not even have sols yet, you know how it goes after that....

To your credit I am unaware that you RQT or use any other methods of (cheats) (tricks) to obtain a win. You should have a chat with those other gl'ers that have obviously wiped out Game League. In fact you told Quinn of it, although I am not sure if you knew what he would do with this information.

I understand several GL'ers use my name in vain when people chat about cheating to them. IE "you must be a blackice fan" lol.

Seems to me all that sulking because they were found out and now to blame the most vocal person for their own ineptness is not only a weak postion to take, but makes me speak out even more.

These people continue to sucker people into games and claim they do not use it when in fact if they think you are a rookie they will use it without exception. I think I speak for most when I say just be honest and have a good honest game. Most of these players are very experienced and do not need to resort to these tricks to beat rookies. Yet they still do has me miffed lol pretty selfserving and childish IMHO.

I have put a list together of "known" Gl'ers that continue this dishonest trade and will be posting it here so "honest" players can avoid them. I will also be posting it in the GL forum and will ask others to post known players as well. Heh if they dislike me now... but it is time for a complete boycot of these players...

I have played all of the top GL'ers now under assumed names to gather this information. I have saved all games and viewed all the files for accuracy. These people will be effectively boycotted by players who want an honest game. I hope they don't get bored playing each other, as I hope that is exactly what happens.
The best excuse and most widely used is "we did not say it could not be used" lol. When I claimed I did not know they said "oh well" is that your GL name I want to report the win" lolololol Good one...

The entire league should not suffer because of a few "win at all cost" players. I am still curious though Paulino1 what programing is involved in getting a never ending 100,000 (or more) gold supply?

Seems the (tricks) (cheats) used over there are getting more complicated. But for sure they have not stopped and just goes to show the claim that "we do not use it" is simply a ruse. It appears newer forms (or older undisclosed)of "cheating" "tricks" are being discovered, used and created for the almighty win.

I played a person predator I think it was he accused me of cheating as he could not figure out how the heck I had factories so soon. I showed this person the ropes and he caught on real quick. They now understand the difference between "cheating" and good play. That is all it takes to get better competion and that is the goal it makes for better gaming. I invited him to come here and sign up for internet play for we play honestly here. I encourage all online PBEM'ers to do the same.

yeah mark it as rated, this is the only way the ratings could move.

My ships were at the other side of my island, so you enter by the back door and my explorer was too far from you.

Good game end in 98 turns, that's fast.

BTW I'm on line, I know I'm a bit late but I'm ready.
