Altered pics of resources and added Buffalo and Sheep. Now with Lumber, Cotton, tobacco and erm... something else too...

Love your mod man!

I'm trying to create my own. I can't seem to get the backgrounds to match. How did you do it? Snoopy's link is not working. So I'm stuck looking for answers in this forum. I'm using PSP7 if that's any help. Thank's in advance.

Hey, been offline for a while, kids and work (Streets of London are FREEZIN' this time of year by the way).
Y'all know how it can be.
In regards to the 'see and compare' thingy, it is possible but I am soooooo dumb I dunno how. It would be cool if someone 'in the know' could do the honours.

Marla - What exactly does a tobacco plant look like? A cigarette/cigar just don't look right on the map and a pipe is too 'CTP'. I need to cut down... *cough* 40 (lights) at the moment... *cough*

Thanx 4 the praise *takes a bow* but the images are all straight pastes from that seemingly unused file 'resource.pcx'. Just thought they looked better is all.

P.S. - np Plumbean

Oh and Wunder... open both files simultaneously and use the 'dropper' in conjunction with 'replace colour with...' thingy to take the background pinky stuff from one to the other. If that makes sense...?

Having actually seen tobacco in the field shortly after harvest, it looks like a well... teepee... made of golden brown plants with broad bladed leaves a bit over the height of a man. The tobacco is arranged in such a fashion to dry. The other common alternative is to bundle the stalks at the end that was cut and hang the stalks inside of a barn. That's about the extent of my knowledge and you may be able to find more online.

The only problem is that it might be confused with the wheat symbol.

Just download it and rename it afterwards to a *.zip file.

Re-naming doesn't work. I have seen all kinds of strange things since they moved the site to the new server.

that's strange I usually do this without any problems you could also use an alternative browser for future downloads. I downloaded the attachment from the initial post with Netscape 4.5 without any problems. If I am using Netscape 6.2 or Opera 5 I have to rename it before downloading or afterwards. But I had never a problem.

It goes in your Art folder. Be sure to back up the original first though.
