Temples that bring 4 culture points/turn? Suffering from ads?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I noticed that some of my temples bring 4 CP/turn while others, as stated in the manual, only 2.
Does someone knows why?
I did not noticed that for any other city improvement...
Build during Golden Age?
Build during WeLoveThePlayerDay ?

All culture producing buildings produce more culture as time goes by. A 1000 year old temple gives more culture than a 10 year old temple.

Each time a building is 1000 years older, its culture output double.

A little ambiguous. When a building is between 0 and 999 years old, it generates the standard culture. Once it is older than 1000 years, it generates twice as much. That doubling happens only once. It'd be cool if it happened every 1000 years, but probably too powerful too (16 point temples and palaces in your capital, 24 point Great Library....)

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

The problem is that any cultural improvement that you build after 900 A.D. won't have much (if any doubling effect) in the late game.

That's not a problem so much as an absence of a bonus. At least as I see it.
