Changing years per turn Full PM-box? Change here!

Hi there people!

I was wondering if someone in the know could help me. I like the game a lot but I'm much more interested in playing the Ancient World and Middle Ages.... these eras go by far too quickly and I was wondering if it was possible to change how quickly the years go by each turn.

I just fancy playing the Romans through with Legions, or the Greeks with Hoplites.... I personally have no interest in modern warfare so after the middle ages I quickly lose interest in the game.

Anyone know how to change this? I really appreciate your help....
Thanks!

Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

If you want ancient age last longer you need to raise prices of advances so that they get researched more slow. That way ancient age lasts longer.

Doubling or tripling all advance costs and also min and max reasearch times should make you stuck to ancient era for quite long time.

If you want to never get out of ancient era I think you can just disable all advances after ancient era....

There is also variable "tech rate" in world sizes tab of editor.

I believe that increasing it for used map type should slow down tech development without having to change all advances individually.
