I've been reading the succession stories -- looks like fun. Anyone starting/interested in starting a game?

French
Continents (middle land)
Temperate, 5 Billion Years
And please, in the name of all that is decent and good, disable AT LEAST diplomatic victory (aka pointless)

I'd like to join too, succession games sound like fun
prefered settings:

Difficulty Regent
Standard world
8 Civs
Normal Continents
Normal climate and temperature
5 billion years
Don't really have a preferred civ (Rome would fit nice to my name though ) , only NO expansionistic civs.

One request: I would like to have the first or the second turn, I really like the early game

How many people do we want in the game actually, 5 or 6 like other succession games?

Alright, I think the no-objection points (since I'll play anything) are:

Large World
8 Civilizations
Continents (middle land)
Temperate, 5 Billion Years
Difficulty Regent

French or Romans
Standard or Large

I put my vote in for French/Large.

I also haven't had any problems with the patch, so I make a motion for using that (lets not try and get fancy with civ3edit though, even it means we'll have to ensure we don't build swordsmen )

sounds fine with me (french/large). Restless barbarians?

I use the patch, but no other mods (other than the visual resource overlays).

20 turns each?

Also, I assume we will play on the honor system - no reloads and such to "fix" bad decisions or unfortunate choice of exploration direction?

I think the playing order XPav proposed sounds good. I think there is a place left for GeorgeWang to join us though, he would be at the end of the list then.

One question: How do you post screenshots??

French/Large is cool with me. Although I havn't tried the Romans yet the French are fine. I also would like to know how to post screen shots. Well I will see you all when LORD LYNCH takes the Throne.
