	Playing The Final Days Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I play in Deity level of course.

JUNE 1942

Axis armies started offensives toward Voronezh in north, Stalingrad in east and Grozny in south. By the end of June, I reached to Don river along all the front. Rossosh, Kalach, Rostov, Shakhty, Krasnodar and Kerch were captured.

Heavy street battles started in Stalingrad suburbs. 6th army troops cleared the road until the city centre but with heavy cost.

Aircraft is very strong in this scenario. So I build fighters and bombers in all good production cities.

JULY 1942

Great number of Russian infantry attacked Krasnodar. Also they made counterattack with T-34 and KV-1 tanks and infantry near Voronezh. I lost almost all my tanks operating against Voronezh during the struggle.

Over the whole front there were engagements between german Me-109 and FW-190 and russian Yak-9 fighters. Casualities were quite equal. Near Rossosh Luftwaffe met with catastrophe. Local air commander forgot to send fighter escort to protect Ju-88 and He-111 bombers and in result many bombers were lost. Göring was furious and the commander was immediately replaced.

In Stalingrad soviets liberated big part of the city during fierce fighting. Rumanian reinforcements arrived to north of Stalingrad.

Soviet partisans were very active in rear areas: they destroyed several city garrisons and managed to capture Lwow.

Excellent, it sounds like the AI is prooving to be a challenge. It was for me a little bit, but I just hope it holds up later in the scenario (the parts I didn't test). And be very careful about the partisans, they can really mess things up if they take certain cities, because the russians may start getting late war reinforcements, such as the josef stalin heavy tanks. I know this happens if Tito marches up and takes Szeged.
