	First scenario help Support Apolyton

I'm trying to make my first CIV 2 MPE scenario but I'm hitting some snags. I created a map and and figured out how to edit units and icons but I'm having trouble with the cities.txt and rules.txt files. The cities.txt file doesn't show up in my directory so I don't know how to edit it. I would like to come up with a llist of city names for my civilizations. How do I do this?

The rules.txt file is in my directory and I can edit some things in it but when I change civilization names and leader names in this they do not change when I run the game!?! If I edit unit names in the same file they change just fine. What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i'm no expert but your post looked kinda lonely!

have you put the new cities.txt and the rules.txt in the same directory as your scenario? ie. in the Civ2 folder but in a seperate folder?

C:\Civ2\MyScenario

depending on where you installed Civ obviously!

Another solution
Start a new game with altered rules.txt in the civ2 folder. In this case map making is a Problem.
