	UNITS: 4 hi-tech units Increase Your PM Length

Okay, I've made a bunch of new units. I will begin posting 4 of them here. These 4 are hi-tech units. Some of the zips have been divided up into file 1of2, 2of2, etc... so they'll fit the 500k requirement. I'll be posting them all one right after another in the same thread. enjoy!!!

The units are:
-Power Armor .. a power armor with a shoulder rail driver and wielding a minigun.
-Combat Mecha .. a bipedal mecha with 4 autocannons. sorta like a battletech mech.
-Gundam .. big giant size mecha with a twin-barrel autocannon. Equipped with multiple mini-missile hatches all around its body.
-Dragon Dreadnaught .. Huge 4 headed flying dragon mecha.

ack, the last unit, Dragon Dreadnaught, is too big to upload. I'm in the process of making it a bit smaller (3k too big!) I'll post that last file in a bit.

w00t! great units??? you made them all from scratch??? with what program???


are you planning on making some real life units as well???

and i was wondering if you visit civfanatics as well, cos a few peeps there are busy with a ww2 mod, we are only stalled at the modelling.. a few peeps can model quite nicely, but it will take much too long

Sorry, I don't take requests, and I don't plan to make any real-life units. The units take a pretty long time to make, and most of the stuffs I've made were recycled from stuffs I made for ctp2.

Are you making any more hi-tech units? Or any other units?

What do you use? 3d Max?

Nope, I had planned to make a land carrier, that can carry units and aircrafts, but civ3 doesn't support this feature. Land units can't carry anything at all. I have made two more amazon units though, to fill up the industrial era. That's it.

I used lightwave, though I think 3d max would work as well.

Hey! I downloaded the units and put the folders in my Civ3 directory, but I have no idea whatsoever as to how to go about making the units playable; that is to say, how on earth do i get these into my game!?! Help please!

I've looked through the messages here and at CivFanatics and am still in the dark.

You can download the Amazon MOD, which is a scenario file that uses all the new units I've made. The mod is somewhere on this fornum.

I'm just wondering if these units have their own animations as in when moving, attacking, dying, etc....do they or did u have to borrow from other units?

Of cause they are ! BlueO's units absolutely best, and some of them considerably better then original CIV3 units. I'm waiting for more
