	2002 civ2 promises Remove this text

I believe that BeBro openned a thread about this long time ago so I refresh the thread

For this year some important projects must be finished so I refresh to all scenario creators their projects (porque hasta que se demuestre lo contrario el civ3 acaba siendo toston con el tiempo ), speaking about when will be released?some screenshot,info...I need more info guys

About my ones.

Armada is still in the same point i left last year. Maritime part it is almost finished, My playtesters made the fisrt playtest and found some errors specially in playbility because it i very difficult destroy English ships without heavy damages and counter attacks are almost imposible. But I have thought something to solve it.
Ground part is easier and I have just to make events and test it. So it is almost finished but i have to sit down and do it.

Spanish Succesion war is a future project( based in a old one) I have little historical info,but have a lot of graphical info about uniforms (thanks to Prom ) flags...I have thougth about the map some other details, but nothing has been made really, when I finish Armada I will start with more "ganas"

jasev -> I want to publish my civ3 translation into spanish next week; I also want to actualize my website; and I'm planning a scenario (maybe this summer) about "Aquila: The last Roman", a book by Rosemary Sutcliff I read long time ago about the roman resistance against the saxons in Britannia.

Im pleased to anounce that my scenario about Europe 1490-1721 (name subbmissions are welcome) is about to be finnished for playtest.
All that is left to do now is some hex editing to make the barbarians allied with a civ (something I've found very hard to do).

Here are some screens in the meantime (the quality was reduced when they where saved as gifs) :

Very impressive, Henrik, these pictures look great.
Just a question: I've seen you've used the name "Riechstaller" as the currency unit. But the correct form, at least in german language, is "Reichstahler.

Yes, I know, I'm quite pedantic, but I simply couldn't resist the temptation of correcting you.

About names... what about: "Europe at the modern age"? Maybe it's not very original...

Or "Age of Empires"? Ooops, Microsoft would demand me.

What about "L'ancien regime"? Perhaps it sounds too french...

Your scn is looking great, Henrik!

How big is the map? Is it one of those gigamaps? And which are the seven civs? I reckon the Habsburgs, the French, the English, the Turks and perhaps the Protestans, the Swedes plus a neutral civ? Will all of them be playable?

Oh, and I think L'Ancien Regime (or The Ancient Regime) can be a good name for it.

Swedes, Habsburgs, French, English, Polish, Ottomans, Brandenburgs.

All civs will be playable (hopefully they will also be multiplayable )

The map is very big, I'm not sure how big exactly but it hasn't been used in scenarios before.
It is very detailed (possibly with too much forest) and the base design was done by Morten Blaabjerg, I do however use an entirely different set of terrains than he did, and I have changed the map on various places.

Pues federales y unitarios me falta un poco laburar los graficos y los events, el core del scenario ya esta terminado, por suerte.

Tengo un "Age of Imperialism: The Quest for Empire" en los works, estoy haciendolo en un gigamap con la epoca circa 1895-1900. Civs: Britanicos, Franceses, Paises del Eje, Rusos, Americanos, Chinos y Japoneses. El resto son barbaros... Lo voy a armar basado en el "engine" del Blood & Iron, pero tengo como para laburar todo el año en ese. La parte que mas paja me da hacer todavia no la hice y eso me descouragea mucho.

Mientras tanto, la gran revuelta arabe ha sido put on hold porque tengo demasiado para leer y no voy a poder empezar "Los Siete Pilares..." hasta julio mas o menos, asi que creo que queda para empezar a finales de año con suerte, aunque si tengo delineado como va a ser. Necesitaria si, un mapa para ese, ya que no encuentro ninguno que deje el Hedjaz, con Egipto y la parte sur de Turquia.

Thanks, but I figured it out yesterday, the only problem with that was that aparently the barbarians aren't affected by events (so I couldn't break the alliance I'd given them via events), I think I've come up with an alternate solution though...

pa que veais que sigo dale que te pego con el escenario de la Armada y pa que asi me echeis una manillo y pueda ir mas rapido...se os ocurren que wonders podria poner en el escenario, necesarios realmente solo hay 2 o 3 para Londres, se me han ocurrido un par, torre de Londres o Parlamento, o incluso algo que ver con la isabelita que me acuerdo que hay un icono muy chulo de ella por ahi, ¿proposiciones?
