	New Succession Game - Players Needed Full PM-box? Change here!

Ok, I'm starting a new succession game. Base rules, you must play your turn within 72 hours. If you can't make that commitment for your turn, you may pass it off. Each player will play 20 turns, and then pass the game on to the next player.

What we'll be playing is: Huge World, Raging Barbarians, Continents, 70% water, Normal Climate, Temperate Temperature, 3 billion years old. Civ still to be picked (if no preferance, I'll just pick random), max opponants.

Please, 'sign' up here, and send me a PM and I'll compile a list. After you're done with your turn, please post the results and the zipped game in the new thread we will be starting once we get everything up.

Oh, and be creative with the record of your reign. If you just give a list of what and when, that'll be fine and I'll immoralize your reign. And please, be, above all else, creative in your titles and city names. We want some flavor from each person. After I get three or more confirmations, I'll begin with the Reign of Markos the Unifier (of whichever tribe we choose. )

Yes, it will be prince level, since most people seem to prefere that for these types of games.

We now have five players. I'll start on the game this afternoon, and hopefully will have it to post by then or tomorrow. I've heard interest in the Egyptians, so if anyone else wants that, we'll definatly do it. Otherwise I will randomize and see what we get.

Although I've never played them, Egyptians are fine. Industrous and religious are very useful qualities and those War Chariots look awesome. The only bad is, that we'll probably have an ancient Golden Age, but that's not that important.

Prince is fine for a "fun" game. Regent would be also, for AI doesn't cheat in any direction, but Prince is ok. I'm looking forward to a very nice game.

Nicely done JM, I was gonna start the thread but am fairly ill and couldn't be bothered (not too ill for Civ3 tho). Lets get going- looking forward to this.

New to Civ3 (but addicted - ask my wife ). Haven't played succesion games in Civ3 but have played similar in other games.

Ok, we need to make sure everyone has the same version. Otherwise we could have problems. I have the the patch 1.16, but can revert if its too much of a problem for everyone else.

Yes Eddy, your included. Now the number is 7, so I think we should seal it off untill one of us has reason to drop out. Which reminds me, if anyone can't make their turn, make sure you notify the person who goes before and after you. Temporary drop outs for reasons of having too much work and the like are allowed if you still want in. Now, lets see what civ we get...

Umm, 9 is ok.
Seems like there's more demand for succesion games than previously believed. I'm happy with 9 (if everyone else is (gads, it could be nearly a month between succesions- 9 x 3 days =27days )
One more wants to join and we could think about forming another succesion game maybe- I don't think we can handle 10 people succesing each other but 9 ok (we'll probably have a couple of dropout anlong the road anyway...)
Looking forward to my turn/discovering what civ we are/finding out the order of succesion.

PS. I'm in 1.16f, should be ok
