Very basic question from a computer illiterate. How do you edit the game? I unchecked use default rules, and made some changes, but then what? How do you save it and use it in the game? Thanks.

Either open the civ3mod.bic file in your Civ3- directory and edit this one (and save it). BUT DON'T FORGET TO MAKE A BACKUP!
Or do as you did and then save it under any name you wish, start the game, chose Play Scenario and then select your saved file as scenario file.

Hi,
I went into the "civ3edit" file, removed the default option tick, increased the optimum number of cities per map size ( to try and reduce corruption a little ) and it saved as a civ3mod file.
To play a saved game with the new settings woulsd I have to load the scenario first then go back and load my saved game.
I'm writting this at work so I'm unable to verify this until tonight.
