Well, i've briefly read over the situation..as much as i can stomach. I really didn't gain an opinion over who is right and who is wrong, but i will say that you'll be missed here. I think it might have been a case of everyone getting their tighy whities in a huge massive knotted wedgie here. Maybe everyone needs time to diffuse (or better yet, and take this into serious consideration) go to icq or aim and completely get it out of your system (this works. i've done it). I hope you'll reconsider coming back at some point..you've been here too long to just throw it away over this.

Well it has certainly been interesting to read through some of your replies, from some of you making me out to be some sort of inhuman monster and Giancarlo is completely innocent. And that I am consumed by some sort of hate for Giancarlo. Believe me, some little idiot on a bulletin board doesn't really bother me in particular, but he will get my strongest contempt, so yeah, with the crap he gives me about how communists should all be shot and how queers should be executed, well excuse me if I do like to extract some amusement from this weasel. Simple fact is, you take him all too seriously, the lad is probably in hysterics at the whole thing, giggling to his childish self. I didn't feel myself particularly dragged in, it was all off the bat, just quick wit fired back at him. It does take two to tango, I agree, but it couldn't have happened to a nicer person, and yes, I like to entertain. I don't believe for one minute that this is a real persona so I am certainly not going to pussyfoot around him and pamper to his tantrums.
And yet I am being made out to be some kind of hideous monster with giant personality flaws, and nothing but a bully. Have you actually read what people have said about me in person, like Iain or Stew or Johan? Yet, of course, you know better, never having met me and only ever having being in contact with the online persona. If you actually ask someone who knows me, you will get a completely different background to the whole thing, and the roots of my action. He was annoying, he was a 'breaker of the peace' and I will play along with his little games, after all, they are quite entertaining to myself and others in a way. But of course, the delicate eared, jaded, boring middle class seem to take great exception to the mention of even the most slightly naughty word like 'semen' or it's connotations with throats. Like they've probably never engaged in fellatio themselves  Quite sad really when people are so uptight about sexuality.
And let us stick on the theme of sexuality. Let us note that Giancarlo has pulled so many stunts related to the contentious issue of his sexuality. Wound up various members of the Apolyton community, red_jon, Asher and as for what **** he pulled with EvC, I would not like to go into. So before you sit in judgement of me, learn a little bit more of the persona of Giancarlo. Yes, he should be banned, for his own sanity, and everyone's peace of mind. Mark my word, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and I will not let Giancarlo lead an easy life at this board as long as he is taunting and making the lives of my friends misery around this board. Standard methods of discipline on this board mean nothing quite evidently. What is a ban or a PCR? After all, it is just a bulletin board in the middle of cyberspace, a place I call home in a virtual kind of way, yes, but that is all it is nonetheless, and the punishment only has context within that environment.
So before you start throwing stones at me, making me out to be the evil persecutor of poor little Giancarlo, then you have already been taken in by his games. Now if you are willing to take his word against mine rather than evaluate the situation and all relating evidence, fine by me, that will make this a community I no longer want to be a part of. But if nothing else, this has been an education, knowing where I stand with other people on the boards.

How can he retract a threat when he's not allowed to come in here?

I have not seen anyone defending G's behavior here, only rejection of PH's ridiculous defense of his behavior. G has been a hateful threadjacking oaf and he is banned. PH has been a hateful threadjacking oaf and he is banned. Red Jon, Boddingtons, El Awrence and several other have been obnoxious threadjacking oafs on this feud and they should have been banned. I would not miss any of you spoiled obnoxious brats; you really stink up the place. You are not so damn entertaining either. I know old folks in nursing homes who have better senses of humor, and far greater conversational skills than you boors*, but I guess it take little more than obnoxious behavior to entertain you.
*intentional pun there
ps Hmm, I am getting to really enjoy castigating miscreants. Perhaps I will make a run for local prosecutor in a few years.
