Maybe we should remind them what out country does when we get truely offended. (Afgahanistan?) Seems to me they tried to do something similar in history, but failed. Hmmm....kinda makes you think about who's still boss doesn't it?
Granted Britain was after resources (God knows what is useful in Afgahnistan), where as we're out for something totally different...
BLOOD!

Probably, why do you care?
Sometimes I have a lot of respect for you, and other times . . .
Okay, everyone else, Gian is a spaz. We know he's a spaz. The fact that he "brings it on himself" is no reason to engage in bullying the kid. He's just a kid. Most of us are adults. We should know better. Provost Harrison is an adult, he knows better than to pick on spazzes.
Yes, Giancarlo is a horrible little person and says really horrible things about gay people. So ignore him. That usually is far more punishing and far more effective at getting people to realize their behavior is beyond the pale. By jumping all over him, in his mind he can think you are all the bad guys and he won't change.
I think PH's punishment was over the top, but he did deserve something. If it was me, I'd just have given him a week, but I'm not a mod. It ain't up to me, and there's nothing I can do about it. PH is an adult, he needs to learn not to pick on spazzy kids.

1st) It's doubtful that they have other sexually oriented "clubs".
Why do I care? Because someone wants a special club, at school, based on their sexual orientation. Which is b.s.
If that disappoints, too bad.
2nd) You're saying the same things I've said, so are you disappointed in yourself?
If so, too bad.

Yeah they have a really, really good chance. Though I think Czech Republic are really, really good this year.

Even more reason they will win then, that statistic has to end some time.

Doesn't say much for you, dear Spinky, now does it?
quote: That's why you go with friends. You don't seriously thought I meant that I go around a pub mocking every individual in there? No. Just friendly banter with people we know. | Typical thug mentality.
Insult others while in groups to attempt to avoid retaliation.
For shame, dear boy.
quote: You're joking, right? Americans over here complain because customer service is worse than they receive back home. We're prepared to accept. | Hardly valid, any first person experince is subject to varibles, such as the amount of times exposed to others of whom you speak.
quote: I'm not whining, just discussing. Hey if Americans want to get all riled-up and offended then that's their choice, it certainly makes the job of MarkG, AH and cohorts easier. | Yep, they bouce you like a rubber ball!
quote: And in response to your "walking away" comment which you like to constantly repeat, I was sleeping. | To easy, I'll let that one pass.
quote: You say what happens externally is of no interest to the Mods in adjudicating. That's ridiculous - Giancarlo has sent nude pictures of "himself" to many posters, and complimented many male posters on their looks. He is gay. | Typical thug tactic.
Make a bold statement that is impossible to verify, as the "sources" are corrupted.
quote: If we then pertain to him being gay on the site, we get banned? That's plainly ridiculous. Should we not talk about anyone's sexuality in case it might offend them? | Looks like that's the case, Spinky!
Getting on to your topic, as many here well know, I answer you as you speak to me.
If someone insults me or my country, they will draw the same or worse fire.
Basically, if you want to troll, be prepaired to take the heat.
What often causes problems between US and other posters, is the fact that others will often believe anything that is negative about the US, without a shred of evidense.
An example, a few months back, the Taliban leaked a story claiming that "The UN was recieved reports that USA bombing hospitals in Kabul".
This went straight to the boards, followed by a number of angry posters denoucing the USA, and adding other "facts" to the USA's list of imfamies.
I pointed out (and correctly, as it turned out), that there was no proof, so no reason to believe it, as it came from the USA's enimies.
The obvious bias was seen, on the part of so-called "enlightened" non-US posters.
A few days ago, El Queda prisiners were brought to Gitmo, and at poly we see "US breaking Geneva convention reguarding POWs?".
Totally ignorring that these were criminals, not POWs, we were treated to endless pages of what was basically a complaint about the US favoring the death penalty, as oppossed to others views against this.
Once again, the USA and it's posters were attacked and villified, and if we respond in kind, people like our friend Spinky here call ua "sensitive".
Sprayber did a nice thread about the "best and worst" of your countries' histories.
I wrote a long post on what was bad about the USA's history, and recieved one favorable remark about it's brutal honesty.
I wrote a second post about the good things, and was attacked for pages on end about points I brought up, forcing me to defend each and every word.
You telling me that is not bias?
Not a single USA poster questioned good moments of other nations, but write about what's good in America and the vultures swoop in, and you tell me we are "oversensitive"?!!?
As with all Spink trolls, they never survive truth or the light of day, and this is no different.
And just a reminder, I will continue as always.
Speak to me, I will speak back.
Attack me, and I will fight back.
Simple as that.
