I am about as fond of flame wars (and their pre internet wargaming equivilant) as anybody. Yet I have no difficulty adapting to a particular environment where they are not welcome. I think there is something missing in persons that cannot resist it, and just have to go to war in a venue that forbids it.
Host/Guest is an ancient and honorable relationship, with reciprocal duties and respect commanded by god since at least the beginning of recorded history. You do not, among other things, disrupt and foul your hosts "home", or space.

My Suggestion:

Go get a free forum, and make your own forum for unmoderated flame wars. Make that the Apolyton flame war forum, so that when Apolytoners wish to have a flame war, they can go there.

Did it ever cross your mind that some of the people you label "trolls" are also in fact speaking their mind? Sure some of the anti-US stuff here is for the sole purpose of pissing you off, some of it is based in a genuine concern that the US is doing wrong, and in an attempt to make some of you realise that.
