As a side note I can say that I'm 9493 person in the member list, and has number 9561 which would mean that 68% of the deletions after the upgrade would be of people that registered before me.

Sagacious Dolphin is only my most recent username. I registered under a different name. I also posted as Big Crunch for about a year.

I don't think Abhorent is the adjective I want to use.

Stange. I think it might have something to do with the upgrade to vBB rom UBB. IIRC his date is the day of update, and he would have got before in the list or something.

How would we go about doing this? I recently changed my name from "technophile", but I assumed that few enough people would care that it seemed silly to start a "Hey everybody, I changed my name" thread. I just assumed that anybody who cared about the name change would be able to figure it out from my sig, and the majority who didn't care didn't need to be explicitly told.

Did you not notice the "Superman affect". When SD started posting BC was nowhere to be seen?

I would also have thought my posting style would have given me away a bit. But then most people found out who I was pretty quick - based on my location field "of Kent" Immortal Wombat promptly informed all the "Who is Sagacious Dolphin? " ponderers of my previous identity.
