	cant open half the files in files section Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

i use winzip, and i know about saving the files as name.zip, but after doing that i still cant open at least 13 of the files found in the files section. is there something else besides winzip that i should try opening them with?

eg. i cant open any file put up by m_m_x
cant open the zip from cassambler
cant open rickk's mood shielded pop heads
etc

Some files are in rar format.

You should see by the original filename what to use to open them.

i get this message when i try to open them with winrar(opening as zip #1 and opening as rar #3). redownloading them doesnt seem to help either.

also while downloading smiley's GRAPHICS: New City Tiles , i find i can open up the chapultapec and shijuku archives, but the zip doesnt work for the taipei file.

tried downloading again and they still dont work. argh there are so many different art files that i want to incorporate into my game.

Well this current server is just a temporary arrangement, so the problems will no doubt be fixed when the they put everything back again. So just have patience. At least we can log on these days, which is a major improvement over what was happening before!

In the meantime, try sending a MSG to the person who did the art, and see if he/she will email you a copy.
