also our people looking forward to good relatons. but expelling our friendly settlers is not an act of friendship. we rejected a stop tresspassing demand as sign of protest. altough we will withdraw our troops next turn.

Small map is very small for 6 players indeed. But I've eliminated most of swamps and deserts.

My apologies, I thought that expelling Settler was in your best interests, as it would be impossible to Settle a city there. Thanks for withdrawing... It is a little intimidating having two troops sat on your doorstep....

But war (even with previous rules) at the beginning to allow you have better land should be authorized I think.

I agree absolutely Zobo... I would also dare to make a suggestion that targets should not be assigned until later in the game still.... Someone who gets lucky with a ruin would have a big advantage, and also it would make for a very tense game up to targets being assigned... I would Suggest turn 19, 29 or 39 for targets being assigned...

Damn, this game is very intence.

I met half players (3) in the first turn (0)

I just met the 4th one and we're still on turn 3.

On second though 6 players in small map is absolute madness!

I like it

We barely fit 6 cities in this map with all those cities and around

If it was a classic deathmatch there would be an enourmous and extreme early bloodbath

hey guys... I had not noted this thread was going on, sorry for not posting here but as the previous game die I also think the same about this.

I also didn't know I was figthing Nimrod but Kralj.

I start war with him 'cos he expeled my settler and now I read you all have expeled someone and still in peace

... I didn't knew the rules about not to capture a city or destroy a civ, but I'm happy 'cos even I had entered into 2 Polynesian cities I had not captured them, just destroyed it

But yes ... BerXpert, I considere that destroying a city is capturing it. As you have to capture it before the city is destroyed ...

Of course you'll have penalties for that, don't worry.

Just if you are agree and for more fun when real hostilities will began no more attacks on cities.
Attacks on units (not in a city!!) are permitted.

Due to special circonstances :

1) I will decided that target are no more assigned. Target will be assigned in function of geographical location and of power.

2) City destruction are forbidden (by any mean). City Capture is forbidden. Limited war is allowed.

3) Offender of rule #2 will have his turn canceled and nexted (no move for him !).

Zobo - Can U edit a turn and grant two cities to Nimrod ?? All of us were geared for turn 9, and so we were relatively undefended earlier in the game..... But I think that we should indeed look at changing the rules, do something to restore the balance in the game. And I really really think that targets should not be assigned until everyone gets a chance to develop a bit..... ALSO I think it would be good to assign targets NOT on my turn, but tell the weakest civ on their turn who their target is, and then second weakest on subsequent turn - etc - In other words, it is a FULL 6 turns after the weak civ knows his target that the strongest civ knows his? That could help balance too?

No I don't know how to edit turn. More damage against Nimrod are

There is two other solutions :

1) Maybe I should impose a tax in gold to all player considering their power. But it will be difficult to evaluate it.

2) We could decide more simply to restart the game from the last turn before the first city capture.

But I will be clear : The goal isn't to "punish" the good players !!
But I'm looking for that all players will have fun...

And now I prefere that you use diplomaty to protect and reenforce a player too weak. After all the goal of this game are clear.

You know what I have other idea... what if I just start kicking other guy... I mean the other one who had been unfriendly with me, so the balance could be granted again
