REALLY dumb question- am I allowed to commuincate with anyone (as I seem to have comlinks with them), or only those I am in direct contact with?
If not, apologies to those I just sent a message to.
If so, it would really explain why postion sucks so much compared to what it sounds like everyone else is going...weapons! Guns! Rovers! The ability to accoplish anything with imeditae drone riots! Such pleasures money cannout buy it seems....

I contacted everyone via comlinks, so I *ASSUME* I can call a Plantary Council next year (sorry Yang, I wasn't sure this turn).
EDIT- I didn't understand the last time. Also note I don't know if Ironwood contacted you with the commlinks before he left the game...if he did NOT please tell me in the reply message not to talk to you so I know! (And if anyone does want me to host the convenetion in a totally netrual setting, send me your comlink somehow!)
The agenda will be Election of Planetary President. Does anyone else wish to bring anything else up on the meeting agenda, if so please state so.
Unless someone jumps at 1st, the meeting will be held at Morgan Industries Captail City. We have the best catering on Planet I might add. Hope to see you there.

Oh well...there goes all the credits i could have made from selling your comm-link ! Unless stated otherwise, you shouldn't contact other factions until you have made physical contact with them or aquire their comm from someone else. It's possible to set up a PBEM without the links in the menu but it's just taken for granted you dont use 'em until you get them (your diplo-status goes from blank to truce)
btw...anyone know what the other set up options are for this game ? I noticed spoils of war is turned off anyway, I'm just wondering whether re-start eliminated factions is active or not. If it is then this game can't finish b4 2200...sigh
