A Replacement Player is wanted for the Gaians in ACT054. SMAC

It is mission year 2172 and PaxPK is in effect as far as the human players go. Various squabbles between the AI and various human factions sputter fitfully to little effect. The Gaians would not be generally considered to be in the lead in this game, but they are by no means about to drop out of sight. In fact, the game is still rather close (at least to those players who do not know The Secrets of the Hive).

Game summary.
The Gaians precipitated a vendetta with the Believers some time ago, somewhat to their regret, losing back their ill gotten gains and finding the homeland itself threatened, but have since rallied, and with some assistance from the Gentle People of the Hive, seem poised to resume their initiative. Governor Straz of the Peacekeepers has maintained a generous regime, although meddlesome UN minions have been detected stirring up trouble in academia, adjacent to the Hive and Gaia. Morgan and the Chairman have tussled over the Right of Labor to live a decent life and the Spartans have practiced their marching and saber-rattling without engaging in overt hostilities.

You - Gaia

Morgan, Miriam & Zak played by themselves.


Tau Ceti has the password and we three each have a copy of the turn, although in the normal sequence you will be getting the turn from Straz and passing it to JohnDMuller.

Darsnan, Welcome to ACT054.

I'll send you the game turn (along with some of the Peoples' Propaganda). Barring unforeseen difficulties, you should be getting the password from Tau Ceti. I'll notify the other players if they haven't seen this thread; they may wish to provide their own Misinformation to you about the game. As far as I know/remember, you don't have any danger overhanging you courtesy of other Humans, so you could procede with or without their input, but Miriam is probably pestering you in several places, so you should watch out there.
