TOT load game error Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Hello, all.

I have a some TOT problems I am hoping you can help me with. First, I've tried on several different days to download the TOT English patch from the Apolyton site, but I keep getting the page not found message when I click on it.

Second, when I save and exit the fantasy game (not the Midguard Scenario), I return to find a startling change. I am no longer the Humans, I am the Japanese! My units are fantasy, but all names in the build list are their normal game equivalent. This really stinks. I sometimes do not use he suggested savename that appears - I give it a unique name - so maybe this is the problem. There does not appear to be an autosave game file associated with this current game, because all I get are older games loaded up when I chose them.

Any help would be welcome!

Thank-you. I've downloaded and installed the patch. When I get back from work tonight, I'll give the game another try!

Did you put the savegame in the correct (fantasy) folder? I am unsure, but I heard this could cause bugs, albeit I don't know which.

Now that you mention it...I don't think the savegame files were in the Fantasy directory. I'm at work right now, so I can't be sure, but last night I used Win ME explorer to look for the autosave files (to arrange them by date and not the default name the computer uses) and the Fantasy folder was totally empty. I'll check it out and make sure I save them in the correct location in the future.

Do you think moving the savegame to the Fantasy folder would fix this particular instance of misloading? I'll try tonight...
