Now I got 2 great games going in Civ 2 MP. I'm forgetting about Civ 3 - stuff it, I enjoy Civ2 MP.

This is a new Aussie dipo style game so that finbar doesn't get attacked too early

So we better post some stories.

THE DEITIANS got a brilliant start - rivers, specials everywhere, advanced tribe from Hut Number One.....

... then, a Barb Chariot on a mountain.... God damn it was strong - I lost that Adv tribe city, the settler it produced, two horses and a Warrior. But deity played on in the face of adversity - unlike some others

Things improved somewhat and now in 775 BC with Rep and 5 cities about to celebrate themselves stupid....

But Hydey is the current whinner.. I mean, winner

Made contact with sub-human horse folk who get off on blocking their friends explorations....

Can't wait for the next round and what a delight to play in a game with finbarville and snowyville as the leading cities

I found it quite a joyful experience to catch up with my civ old friends

No point in attacking finbar son - he makes you feel so bad about it, it isn't worthwhile.

Anyway, diplo is fine with me.

we got another session of civ in again last night but the rubber band broke on Deity's connection so we had a 3 way game Horse , Hydey and finbar.

Lots of fun for everyone, I have never seen so many barbs at the one time but the best thing was Horse suffered most.

Man...I miss the old days of the runnin', gunnin' posts between you guys...now it just sounds like making dental appointments.

Fin...I've got some great material for a show about car salesmen. My working title is either "How I Sold My Eternal Soul For The Allmighty Dollar" or "Doing People Over a Barrell, Smiling".
