Your citizens are gluttons - they really are! Why, they eat three, count them THREE food each. This means that growth of your cities can be rather an uphill battle to say the least. However, on the plus side, settlers only cost one poulation point instead of two so that's something anyway. Also, your workers can irrigate almost anywhere for their beloved food, even in forests. Clever little gluttons aren't they!
