	Calling los hispanicos de Apolytonia... Got spare money?

There is a newly opened forum in the CivII section - Democracy Games. Chris62 (as Alcibiates of Athenae) has guided this type of game at Civfanatics, now Apolyton is starting one!

We need more participants! Join the game, it sounds like a fun way to play CivII. Elections are held to give out responsibilities, all civ decisions are decided by vote. More details are posted in that forum.

The idea: Players elect ministers (science, defense, etc) and a president for a set number of turns. The president plays the game following the will of the masses. Any player may nominate himself or another for a post. After some number of turns, new elections are held.

How? The ministers post polls (all the players vote) to decide what to do for # turns. For example, do we

1. build more settlers
   
2. build horsemen to explore
   
3. build temples
   
4. etc

After 24hrs, the public "will" is carried out by the president in the CivII game. Then new polls for the next turns.

Ministers decide the details, such as placement of citizens in the city window, how high to set the tax rate, etc.

Only 20 players have signed up so far, a rather small public! All posts are still open (tambien el presidente )...

Comprendes? o no? It is similar to a succession game, but all players decide what to do, thus the name "democracy game."

La idea: Los jugadores eligen los ministros (ciencia, defensa, etc) y un presidente para un número del conjunto de vueltas. El presidente juega el juego después de la voluntad de las masas. Cualquier jugador puede nominarse u otro para un poste. Después de que un cierto número de vueltas, las nuevas elecciones se lleve a cabo.

¿ Cómo? Fijan los ministros las encuestas (todo el voto de los jugadores) para decidir para que lo que haga # dan vuelta. Por ejemplo,

construya a más colonos
construya a jinetes para explorar
construya los templos
etc

Después de 24hrs, el público "" es realizado por el presidente en el juego de CivII. Entonces nuevas encuestas para las vueltas siguientes.

Los ministros deciden los detalles, tales como colocación de ciudadanos en la ventana de la ciudad, cómo colmo fijar la imposición fiscal, etc.

¡Solamente 20 jugadores han firmado encima de hasta ahora, un público algo pequeño! Todos los postes todavía están abiertos (tambien el presidente del EL )...

¿Comprendes? ¿o no? Es similar a un juego de la sucesión, pero todos los jugadores deciden qué hacer, así el "juego conocido de la democracia."
