I am creating a mod based on the HBO shorts featuring Jack Black and Kyle Gass called Tenacious D. I was looking for input from any fans of The D that might be lurking around.
I haven't really done anything yet, I'm still in the planning phase. My first question, I initially was going to create a Civilization called Tenacious D led by JB. Now I have thought, maybe I should add several new civs, one led by JB, one by KG, one by Lee, one by Sasquatch, Satan, etc.
Also, any suggestions on Leaders, City Names, Units, Resources, Wonders, Techs would be helpful. Here are my brainstorms:
Great Leaders:

Still thinking here....demons were the only obvious one. Maybe a Kielbasa?

I also thought i would be hilarious that when the Tencious civ declares war, the text would say, "With karate I'll kick your ass", but it appears that the dialogue isn't civ-specific....
My only other thought was editing the city graphics to start with a flaccid penis, and then grow more and more erect as the population grows. Yeah, immature and tasteless as hell, but that's what the D is all about, isn't it?
One more...does anyone know a good source of good clean pics of the D? I am pretty good with Photoshop, but I need some good pics to start with for the leaderheads etc.
any thoughts?
