Your use of the word "better" is an ambiguous term in your sentence. However, your analogy conveys the meaning that popularity (Clinton having beaten Bush the Elder) does not necessarily mean better. Just because a million people like a game, doesn't mean you should.

I hope you folks understand that when I use terms like utter stupidity. I am just dicking around with the needle...I don't want to ***** the skin but just slightly stimulate, nor do I intend to draw blood. Drawing the ire is more satisfying.
