Lines on Foreign Advisor Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I was playing a nice and calm 8-players game on a standard map, post-patch, when my advisor tells me that the English and the French have signed a Mutual Protection Pact (hmm... so much for "realism" here... ).

Two turns later, I go to the Foreign Advisor screen and I notice that I can't see the MPP line between England and France. No matter what I tried, I simply could not see it. But the lines indicating peace treaties and trades (both actual and potential) could be seen.

Anyone experienced this before? It's worthy to say that I already had contact with all 8 civs and I had embassies in all their capitals.

I heard something about a graphical glitch, somewhat related to OpenGL... any hints?

Suffering from ads?

Strange. If you hadn't seen any lines it would have been OpenGL, but just the mutual protection pact line...

Are you sure you marked it? (stupid question)

Full PM-box? Change here!

Yes, I did it.

The v1.16 readme says:

quote:
Relationship lines are no longer displayed on the Foreign Advisor unless the player has contact with both civilizations.

Well, not only I had contact with both England and France, I also had embassies in both capitals. I'll check it out again and I'll try to post a saved game here. Maybe I'm doing something stupid...

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Thats happened to me before aswell!
very annoying! nearly cost me the game-declared war on a weak country only to find the had a mpp with the strongest country and i had checked it on the advisor screen before making my attack.
I was using a sav editor though and assumed it had something to do with that

How embarassing...

I forgot to click on Elizabeth's or Joan's portrait to see their diplomatic relations... sheesh...
