	Anybody interested in a new game? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Looking for 3 other players to start a new game. One thing I would like is to limit the number of sessions to 4, then decide a winner. Regarding settings, it's whatever the majority wants. My playing time would be evening central time 7:00 to 11:00 pm week nights, or mornings on the week end.

Please post your desired settings and time preference so that we can schedule those 4 sessions.
I am available as early as tonight but understand it will takes a few days to compromise on settings and available times.

prefer 1x1x - weeknites after 8:30pm est, 7:30pm cst (I have no idea what time that is in aussie land)

My favorite settings are:
King or deity
1* 1* No barb (or roving bands)
No city and unit bribing No tech trade No tech stealing
No taking back and forth cities
No alliance and peace treaty
No gifts (money, units, cities)
No cities on 100% defensive terrain, if you modify the land, the defensive value should still be under 100%
Foreign trade allowed
No wonder restriction
Sabotage and embassy OK
Simul turns, turn based during conflicts
Premade map or random
Another suggestion is to assign a mission to each player: Destroyed an assigned civ or land on AC

I have already posted my playing times. I just want 4 sessions scheduled ahead of time. I am not intereseted in a play 3 h and never see you again.
Again those are just preferences I just want to play what the majority wants to play and have clear rules stated before the game.
For the 2 other player please post settings/available playing time if you want to start soon.

Happy with most of that arii.. cept I prefer turn-based. I don't really see a speed adv with simul cos of lag when all players move.
A pre-made map migt be betterr though, with equal starts, if no assistance is possible to each other (no tech trading, no aliances etc)

USA Tues night my only time slot.

Thurs night a possibility until HOTW3 starts.

thats quite a list arii. i am definitely against simul turns. i am totally for 1x1x and deity or king (deity preferred).

As for the rest - i kinda like playing "everything goes" but can live with whatever else u put

I am unable to get ICQ to work. You can send me IP thru the www.zone.msn.com (_deitydude), Yahoo (bob_wland_2000) or AIM (deitydude1). I'll be on Tuesday at 7:30cst - hopefully someone can find me.

God I hate ICQ!!

And I'm feeling really bad - feverish. If we do play I won't last long.. see who shows but 2-3 hours max I'd say, unless someone can fill in for me.

Seems like the logistics of setting one up are more complicated than the game itself

I saw your hook-up info in the previous post, and since we live relatively close, maybe we could try to set something up Friday, Sat, or sunday. Im a little new to MP, but at least have some experience. If not, I could set aside a weeknight next week, but this Thurs and fri wont be too good.

The berlin airlift was a piece of cake compared to this logistical debauchery...

I was here but got no messages from you arii nor did you respond to icq - you were not visible. I seem to have your correct icq so I don't know wtf?? Even when I'm in away mode I'm usually keeping an eye on the screen....
I did not see fodder show and deity dude not being on icq is a total pain...
I was OK to play but was feeling a bit sick. I'll be OK for next Tues night too.
Would you consider setting this up as a diplo game?
I can make this a very regular time slot now that the other diplo is on Weds nights, which I can't do.
A diplo with smartfart and fodder and dd and us would be cool.. L

Deity, i know that not having ICQ makes me a little incommunicado. Can you download AIM or Yahoo messenger. From what i hear it is superior to ICQ and even if not we could at least communicate.
