Maybe it is just me, but many of the games I am in are so slow as to be almost unplayable..... In PBEMs there is more than one player, but the actions of one player can ruin the game for others... Maybe I am the only one unhappy with this, and if I am then shoot me... But I see so many posts now asking where the turn is... and Games where no posts have gone up for a week or two... Then other players lose interest in the game... after all when you play a turn, you feel whats the rush, I won't see the next one for two weeks... I feel we got to find the players ruining games and SORT THEM OUT!!!!!!

I'm not for an automatic rule for excluding players.
But an hall of shame could be usefull as a warning.
Applying score penalties to player too.

Through we are playing for fun. So we have not to be so touchy.

As I admin I promise to moderate more my games.
And As player I promise to be more quick.

It is so why I left one game lately. Not enough time.

I don't have a problem with people delaying things once in a while (due to a valid reason-e.g. going overseas, computer crashed etc.), provided that they tell someone. What's irriatating is when someone just stops showing up here or doesn't answer his emails.

A hall of shame is NOT a good idea. (It would be stuffed with rants all too soon anyway.)
Always make sure your game has a moderator.
If the moderator doesn't do his job, get another one.

Several things that F*** up a game... Not sending turns to moderator that's number one...
Not taking the time to type in the name of the game and turn number in the subject matter that is number two...
Players not posting addy changes that is number three....

Team effort people....

I agree with three nexts and you are out tossed, axed, looking for new game to slow down...

I think the result of "Booting" people out of the games will have us down to only 5-6 dedicated players after the purges.

Cool and faster games nice trade off if you ask me... I have an Idea why not start an IAMSOF***INGSLOWIWILLDIEBEFORETHEGAMEENDSGAME that way these few can play a game for as long as it takes the rest of us will get alone just fine...

I don't know if there are really that many people slowing games.... it only takes one out of the seven or eight.... Although I am not sure... Because it is difficult to try and find who they are, it doesn't mean we shouldn't try.... But I really do think there are one or two players who are persistent offenders, and they should be rooted out and dealt with summarily.....

I don't think it would mean that we would be down to 5 or 6 players.... BUT I do think that if we identify the half dozen or so that are the worst, we may find they are players that just ain't doing well in particular games, and they can be replaced.. the idea of this thread is constructive, not destructive, I am not expecting those who are slow players to post here, I am expecting quite the opposite.
