Map sizes Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

I've heard that it is possible to create maps larger than 10000 tiles, however since I use a mac I cannot myself use any programs etc meant for doing this (as they where all written for PCs).
If anyone does know a way to create such a huge gigamap, could you make me one with the dimensions:
80x300

Please!

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Easy! Sure thing.
I'll mail you a megamap straight away

The way to create them is resize an existing map with MapEdit from your civ2 MGE folder, but as you told me, MapEdit unfortunately doesn't run on macs.

I tried to help... Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

But I could not get this to work for our beloved Swede here. Damn, I am an idiot when it comes to fancy civ things. *sigh*

Sorry Henrik.

Full PM-box? Change here!

I must admit I had my headaches with megamaps, before I read the helpfile that came with MapEdit, that the program needs to be installed/run from the used civ2 folder, or alternatively 'told' which version to use. (in my case, I have several versions of civ2 installed -Now I simply have several versions of MapEdit installed ..)

Or create a blank gigamap with MapEdit

(kind of irrelevant here, though )

You only have to specify the path to a civ2 executable... Or maybe that's what you meant, but I just want to make sure I wasn't too obscure in the readme.
