Smith, Wesson, and the RODINA!!!

Whoa, at first I thought this was Turtledove's American Empire scenario, I didn't know there was another of the same name. Although that was all right, I was surpised and relieved that this was a Civil War game.
No changes this turn. However, I noticed that I am at war with the Confederates. I didn't see that on the thread, so is this just from the AI's reaction to Brownsville and in reality we are keeping peace, or have we actually been at war?
Also, for any of the people who were planning on gifting techs to Mexico but Winterfritz refused, I am willing to take them. I have more than enough bandits, not to mention that they aren't as good as they sound. Specifically I want Railroad and Explosives, but you can be more generous if you find it in your best interests.

Oh, ok. Let's keep it that way; I have enough to deal with in the Yucatan.

Major Union Breakthrough!
Federal forces smashed through defenses, completing the liberation of Tennesee by taking the city of Memphis, and continued on their successes by taking Abington, Atlanta and Charlotte. President Lincoln again issued an offer to accept total surrender of the Confederates, but no word of an acceptance has been reached. Although in the field, emmissaries for Jefferson Davis dropped their usual demand for money, and instead pleaded for a cease-fire. Union forces denied these requests however, as President Lincoln wants only to hear offers of surrender from the Confederate political leaders.
Formal Indian Peace Treaty Signed
Staff in the State Department were bewildered to discover that the Union was technically at war with the Indian Republic and quickly put forward a formal treaty to correct this mistake, which President Mad Cow easily accepted.
OOC: Can everyone post their email address, so we can have everyone's in the updated turn list?
