RICHMOND, VIRGINIA - April 29, 1869 - President Jefferson Ruffhaus addressed the legislature again in a effort to update the people on the state of the ongoing war. To start off the speech he denounced the new French regime as a pathetic shadow of it's former self. Considering the president's previous comments on the froggies, one can only imagine how little he thinks of them at this point. President Ruffhaus promised to continue the invasion of France, and sent additional troops from the Army of Northern Virginia to northern Spain. These forces will link up with Major General JEB Stuart's Cavalry Coprs, which is poised to take Paris this Spring.
The president also praised the English for their recent and most spendid recovery, and further citied Prime Minister Orange One as a diplomat to be held in the highest esteem of all world leaders.
El Presidente Gerwaldo of Mexico was also hearld as a fine ally and brilliant tactician. It is to the supreme pleasure of the Confederacy at large that our naval units cooperate with Mexican ships in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
