Well not at 4:00am GMT!!! - Time allowing we will conclude our game on the Saturday... How much time will you have Swissy?? I think it would be beneficial to break for a couple of hours if the game does not seem to be heading to a rapid conclusion - I would dearly love to be free between 3:00pm and 5:00pm GMT if that is okay with you, I've got all work completed/delegated, so outside of that I will play according to your Schedule which I think is a little more full than Mine!!

Hi BI et al,
Sorry, Things have just caught up with me I will have to drop out until the middle of April. Darth has already been informed. Firstly I have to reformat my new hard drive, but even that must wait.

More importantly, I found out last Friday that my Masters Thesis has to be finished by this weekend or I am kicked off. Then I have two days to implement supervisors comments, then do all the other shiite. I originally hoped to get all this finished by the middle this month, but with my hard drive probs I got set back two weeks.


I have been working my bollocks off for the last few days. I have to get in touch with my supervisors, whom I haven't seen, or spoke to at any length for about 8 months. I have to tell them that they must read a 150+ page thesis (25000 words) about e-commerce in Thailand in just 2 days. They are not going to be happy that is for sure.

The last thing is the connection probs here, which I think BerX can corroberate. We tried to have a game last Sat, but I just kept getting cut off, had to give in trying in the end. Sorry for Sat BerX.

No need for hosting outside participants.....games can be saved turn by turn, and in a dispute sent to a moderator.. Good luck to you both!

Gav, the thing is, the poorness of Keygen and my connections combined makes it impossible for either of us to join the other's created game, so we need a third to host.

OH I C..... Now there is a problem..you see it would take a lot to have another player in the game to just sit there for several hours.. I have a Tournament game this weekend so it rules me out.... I make the following suggestion- get someone to start the game,under handicap, with one Settler for the surrogate host... THEN he leaves and one of you become host - with you both starting with 5 Settlers- so the AI will have minimal impact- I would also suggest you use a small map - makes it easier to transfer data

22:00 GMT on Friday would be fine. We could take a break for me to have a sleep and continue at 09:00 or 10:00 GMT

But I don't think we are going to make it
Connection seems to be a great factor for playing each other so I am kind discouraged but we could give it a try, yes, why not.
But if we won't make it again then another player should be assigned for both...

I think you are -05:00 GMT therefore it should be 17:00 your time. However if you are -06:00 GMT then you're right.
If it's not too hard you could meet us on cali or nl at 4:00 PM your time to find out if you are -6

That's funny, worked for me (winzip 8.0). Try this one... change the .txt to .exe, and double click it.

Maybe it's because my winzip is unregistered???

Swissy has vanquished Gavrushka. Gav conceded in 400 BC.

The story of the game was, I had 7 cities on rivers and he had 1. I also was able to steal a few of his people early.


The zip of the saves was to big to post. Sending zipped saves to Blackice.
