All right - good to get this game going again! Mostly everything is proceeding according to plan: I lost a foil to the Spartans this turn, and will probably lose a Probe Foil next turn to them, as well. Otherwise, Morgan seems to be content to build infrastructure while I whittle away at his Energy Park!

Neural Grafting is very good news, indeed! This coupled with wgabrie discovering Doc: AP this turn should help us significantly!
As far as how we are doing: I have a sizable force already on Morgan's continent (4 speeders and 2 Probe Teams, with more in transit), and will have a base built on Morgan's continent in two turns, which is when the first of my aircraft should be rolling off the assembly line. These aircraft then will proceed to my Morgan base and cover my units' assault on Morgan's HQ. I will also build my base @ coordinates 14/48 next turn, so as to allow Radman to land aircraft for assaulting the western portion of Morgan's domain.
I anticipate launching my assault in about 5 turns, which should give us more than enough time to beat the deadline. FYI.

Currently General Sherman is conducting Operation "Marching through Georgia", his troops destroying every Solar Collector and Echelon Mirror they can reach. We also were able to steal a tech from the Morganites, as well as aquire the Morganite map! This, coupled with the Gaians having the Empath Guild, has now set the wheels in motion for the next phase of the campaign to liquidate Morgan's ASSets!

To All,
I have called a vote to repeal the UN Charter. Although I have been tearing thru the Morganite's Energy Park, why Morgan isn't going to sit down and take this any longer, and is gearing up for an all out war with me. To that end I plan on killing the first few Morganite cities that I capture, so as not to lose them in a counterattack/ Probe action, and continueing my drive on Morgan Industries. Currently the voting stands thusly:

2 votes for repealing the charter (myself and Santiago)
2 votes against (Zak and a suddenly very pale looking Morgan!)

Morgan Biochemical has fallen to General Sherman's assault forces! Also, in a surprise seaborne invasion, a Gaian Marine Force has taken Morgan Energy Monopoly! Although we anticipate losing Morgan Energy Monoploy to Probe action, it should provide enough confusion within the Morganite military establishment that we will be able to continue to exploit our advantage next turn as well!

Which base? I'm betting (and hoping, now that I know I've lost a base) that its Morgan Energy Monopoly! Also, is the population 2 or 3 in this base (tell me whether it was probed or conquered away from me)?

It said that the Gaians announced the loss of Morgan Energy Monopoly... so I'd say it was conquered.

Someone called the election to reinstall the UN charter. Because I wasn't informed of any changes I voted 'Nay'. The vote can still go ether way. Also I am ready to take on the Spartans now, or we can wait until the 2200s.

Also, General Sherman's troops have burned Morgan Industries to the ground, thus ending the Morganite's attempt to corner the Global Energy Market (got a screen confirming this)! I would say, that with this immediate threat ended, that we can go back to pursueing each of our own original agendas.

Spasmofit: if you want any of the southern Morganic bases (Morgan Bank, Morgan Metagenics, or Morgan Hydroponics), feel free to take them: I am concentrating on the remaining eastern Morgan cities, where a majority of their military is concentrated, as now that I have committed an atrocity against him, why Morgan will probably enter into a blood feud with me!

Hmmm - I didn't think he'd be such a pushover - 90 years, eh?

Next one I do I'll have to give some military teeth as well - like find a hidden corner of the map and put a dozen Shard fusion AAA choppers as lurkers, with the command "end lurk when unit adjacent or in 2180" or some such date - that way he can get them to a base within three or four turns and have an instant defense. If another player stumbles into them, then "whammo" they are alive and kicking.

Googlie I sugjest giving the AI alien artifacts to help boost them up in the tech race around this part of the game.
