Oh ya.....I forgot, all the years under the Masoods rule. Women stayed at home, the streets were filled with thugs, and there was constant 24:7 fighting. Your a bit wrong. Kabul was turned into a battlefield for 6 month. The NA ruled for 5 years.

Maybe in your piece of **** country the government controls the media. Not here, I suppose the people walking down streets in Kabul and drinking coffee at Cafe's are paid by Ashley Banfield, Nick Robertson, and Steve Herrigan.....to say good things about the United States on live TV?
Please.....pull the plug on this moron

How do we know the feed is live? They could easily put a sign that says "live" on it. Don't be so naive to think that the media isn't filtered in some way. We get shown what they want us to see. I constantly flip through the major cable news networks only to see the same stories on all stations. That doesn't seem weird to anybody else? The producers and editors of those networks choose what news we hear and how we hear it. We get their interpretation of what really happened. I personally believe that America is so brainwashed, people are incapable of making their own decisions. Myself included.

You are really a moron. But donīt worry, Iīm not meaning to insult you, just making a factual statement. What they do is interview 100, then show 5 who happen to say what they want to hear. This is what all media do; itīs their standard method. I would think you are the only person in the world not understanding that, but I suppose there are many more Americans like you... |
Er, uhm my wife was a reporter. She would consider doing what you describe as a violation of journalistic ethics. Some may do this, but to say that its standard method is a smear.
There are journalists on the ground from many different perspectives, including many non-americans, and ones from papers very unsympathetic to the US, such as the Guardian and the Independent (both UK) Even they have to go to refugee camps and traditionally pro-Taliban places like Kandahar to find anti-US man on the street interviews, such being very rare in Kabul.

So you mean introducing values/politics was my hijack? OK then, letīs leave morality/policy out of it, and discuss strategy totally unbiased and value-neutral. Taking US tech superiority into account, my question is: what should the Taliban do to kill as many American soldiers as possible and minimize losses of their own? |
From that perspective they should disperse and avoid engaging US/Allied armed forces entirely. They can't match them in training/firepower/mobility or almost anything else. They should never have tried to consolidate forces so soon after the Taleban were routed from power. Their only real strength lies in stealthy attacks conducted on isolated military targets of opportunity and upon civilians. ie: Standard Guerilla/Terrorist tactics.
