New Graphic: catapult.flc mod Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I got tired of looking at an empty catapult. Heres one that throws a fireball. I'm afraid that it looks better as an animation than in the game (it gets too small) but its better than nothing.

There is no red in the flames because I couldnt find a red that wasnt linked to the civ colours (I still think it looks OK though). I had to rework the flames a number of times when I spotted blue or green flames while testing the flc in the game.

If someone can explain how I can get around the palette problems without jumping through too many hoops I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. I've got three units in mind. A UU highland inf for the brits (gonna be a ***** to do) , a UU halberier for the swiss which could also be used by the germans "landsknechte", and maybe a modern flamethrower unit (it may seem that way, but I dont have a thing for fire).

Post unit on Civfanatics Units Mods Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Excellent graphic. I cannot get proper downloads from Apolyton. I one of many that get corrupt downloads from this site. Would you post your graphic file on the Civfanatics website? I get proper downloads from that website. If you already have, could you tell me the name under which you posted it? Thanks.

Increase the size of your Attachments

I posted this graphic and the FireGalley at civfanatics. Just as an aside the trick to downloading form apolyton seems to be renaming after download to ANYNAME.zip. I dont know why, but the downloads from here can only be saved as an attachment. It may be something peculiar to IE6!

apolyton downloads are just jacked up, we had a long discussion about this and compared IE versions amongst each other, and it's the board itself or the server host that is goofing it up. Just run pkzipfix if you get a corrupted download and you can then open it just fine.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Regarding the downloads, the problem started with the change of server, and it has been observed by many that the current server doesn't handle files right. If you have problem try clearing the cache and download again.

Hey Mizaq, I remember talking to you about the download problem before. Thanks for the info in using pkzipfix. And SpencerH, thanks for posting it on civfanatics. Have a better one.
