	Should people who post single smilies as replies get PCR's? Increase Your PM Length

I think it is very obnoxious when peole post only a smily as a reply. I've noticed that people don't do this much in the OT forum, but they do in other forums. I don't think that is a coincidence. The worst is when someone quotes someone else's spammy post, and just adds the smiley. I think that anyone who does this should get a PCR, because it is blatantly obvious that the only reason they posted that was to raise their post count. I mean, what other purpose would they have for posting it ? Helpfully informing other posters that the post they quoted is spam? I don't think so.

I think a 5% PCR should be inflicted on whoever does that, unless it is in the OT. What is the general moderator rule on one-smiley responses?

Edit: And I also think the smiley should be abolished, because it is only ever used for spam.

I also use a single (multiple) icons to answer posts on many occasions... sometimes, that's all you need.

Spam is usually a matter of intent. We do the best we can in judging that intent... If you have a problem with a specific posters actions... feel free to contact the staff via email or PM, and we will look into it...
