	Mods/Admins...lights are on but nobodys home... Support Apolyton

When choosing a forum to go to I used to check the lights to see which forum has a new post. Recently some seem to be stuck in the on position. When I go to the forum there are no new posts since my last visit.

Is there a problem?

Are you remembering to click the "Mark All Forums Read" link in the lower right-hand corner of the forum index page <I>while</I> you are logged into your forum account?

I rather prefer to see all bulbs turned off once I read all inside a specific forum!
I have to memorize the time I left it, and only go back to it when the time is different from the last time.

This is one of the major flaws I see at Apolyton.
The other is being flooded with mails that tell me that there's a new post in a thread I subscribed. One would suffice! I usually get around 100 mails from Apolyton every day, sometimes 10 are just about one specific thread has a new post! This is really annoying!

I would like to be able to subscribe to a thread but don't get any email notifications, I don't suppose that's possible? Just a list of threads in my control panel that I could reach with one click, without having to navigate through the whole forum structure. Of course, I could divert the notification mails to a spam-address but I regularly get PM notifications and Apolyton emails on the same address as well (and the newsletter, although it has been a while since the last one), I wouldn't want to miss any of that...

yep
